I've been doing a bimonthly playlist since November - December, but so far this year I feel like May and June is the best so far. I enjoyed music a lot these months, specially because I was on summer break and all I did was listen to music and play Sims. Also, this playlist has to be the most random one, songs from Post Malone to The Vamps. A very weird mix if you ask me. 4 of the songs that really stuck with me are...
Sober - Lorde: Melodrama is one of my favorite albums of all time, I played it a lot on June and Sober was my favorite to sing karaoke (when I say karaoke I mean being home alone, I can't sing in public). This song gives me such a chill vibe but at the same time you want to dance like nobody's watching.
24/7 - The Neighborhood: This one reminds me a lot about myself. I'm the type of person that will always be available to anyone. Over the years I've tried to let people know that anytime they need some kind of help, doesn't matter if its serious or silly, just like the lyrics say "you can hit my line like 24/7, I'll be here to listen anytime."
Miracle - CHVRCHES: I used to listen CHVRCHES a lot in 2016 because they were on my "working playlist." At work I used Google Music because that's the only streaming platform I had available and when I left my job I came back to Spotify. The other day, Halsey posted this song on her Instagram and I felt so bad I forgot about them. I like this song a lot. It reminds me so much about Twenty One Pilots "Tree" which is one of my favorites songs live. Also, they were still in hiatus so this song was kinda the only new thing that reminded me of them.
Never Enough - The Hunna: Spotify recommended me this and I'm so happy they did. Although I dislike when they mix recommended songs within my playlist. I didn't know this band and it's definitely on my to do list to check them out because doesn't matter what my mood is, this song makes me crazy dance, sing (more like shouting) every single time. I listen to it while washing the dishes (which I hate), while getting ready for uni etc. It gets me in such a great mood.
My July - August 18 list is currently empty, if you have any recommendations please send them my way. 😃💖
